FOREMAN

TIM TRUDELL

Tim Trudell is a legendary figure in the Southern California skate scene, where he’s been shredding since the 1970s. Growing up in the birthplace of modern skateboarding, his world was forged in the golden era of backyard pools, surf-influenced style, and a DIY ethos. Those early years built a lifelong commitment to creating awesome places to skate.

A career in skatepark construction came along naturally. Long before joining Grindline, Tim carved his own path, learning concrete, formwork, and the finer points of shaping rideable terrain. Decades of skateboarding gave him an intuitive understanding of flow, function, and the details that separate a good park from a great one.

As a Foreman at Grindline, Tim oversees projects from start to finish, ensuring craftsmanship of the highest caliber. He recently led construction on the new Bennington Skatepark in Vermont, a project that highlights his ability to create inclusive, flowing terrain for skaters of all ages and skill levels. He’s a mentor to younger builders, a trusted leader within the company, and a backbone on projects across the country.

With more than forty years in skateboarding and many years building parks nationwide, Tim carries forward the spirit of Grindline with creativity, resilience, and integrity, delivering world-class skateparks that stand the test of time
