Community Park’s skate park is getting an overhaul.
Back in February, Davis city staff chose Grindline Skateparks as the design-build contractor for the project. The Davis City Council awarded a contract to Grindline in April.
On May 8, the city held an informational meeting with Grindline in order to garner feedback to incorporate into a preliminary design.
On Tuesday, Grindline CEO Matt Fluegge unveiled this design in a community meeting held at the Veterans Memorial Center.
Grindline Skateparks has designed and built over 350 skate parks worldwide. Based in Seattle, Wash., Grindline has been in business since 2002.
